Hi guys! First of all I just want to say I am sorry that I haven’t posted anything in a while!

My everyday life kind of caught up with me. If you weren’t aware I work full time and I am usually out my house between 12 and 14 hours a day. This doesn’t include time getting ready and winding down after the day. I also suffer badly from Severe Migraines and Cluster Headaches (two different lovely things that make me not capable to do much when they hit!)

So I took a bit of a break to get myself back into the game. I have been testing new products and giving old products a chance again, so there will be plenty of reviews to come.

I have also thought about what I really want to do with this blog, I will keep on with my reviews, products for us pale princesses but I also want to do more thought provoking posts. In this time of thinking I got a Daith piercing.

If you haven’t heard of a Daith piercing, it is an inner ear piercing, that has been said to help people that suffer with Migraines and Cluster Headaches, and luck me that I have both! These started I would say 8-9 years ago and come and go. I have been on different medication (thank god for being in the UK and the NHS!) I take preventative medication at night and when a Migraine or Cluster Headache hits I have a nasal spray to take. It will work 70% of the time, which is good but not great. In between this, for 7-8 years every single day I have had a headache, that has NEVER went away.

My good friend Cotton (Cotton Toly on youtube, go check her out!) got a Daith piercing and it did really help her. So I decided to go and get this done.

Not the best picture but its so you can see what I am talking about. All I can say is WOOHOO!!! Actually waking up in the morning and for the first time in years not having a headache! I forgot how good and visually stunning life can be (the lighter mornings and a bit of sun in Scotland may be helping!) This is honestly the best decision I have made. I also went a full week with out taking 1 single pain killer. When you’ve been taking 8 strong painkillers every day for years, to not having any, it makes a big difference.

I have became happier, more determined and wanting to really push myself now. Yes I decided at the Easter weekend I was going to indulge in a few alcoholic beverages (as you do) and I still didn’t get a migraine. They are unsure if it is the Titanium or the pressure point that works to help reduce Migraines/CH’s and relieve the pain. There have been many studies and it’s the same with many alternative therapy, it works for some and not for others.

If you do suffer from any of these disabilities then I highly suggest looking into this and seeing what you think.

Thank you for staying with me and hearing part of my story! If there is any questions then please ask away. Much love XOXO
