Now when you hear “Magic foundation” I know what you are thinking, this is going to answer all of my foundation dreams!! Well I am happy to say that this MAY be the case with this foundation.

It mixes makeup and skin care together. I will start with the claims then let you know my thoughts.

“A full-coverage, demi-matte, long-lasting foundation. Enriched with Hylauronic Acid, Laricyl and the concentrated power of Vitamin C. Skin is moisturised, dewy and pores are minimised.”

It states it is for all ages, skin types and skin tones. Charlotte had been working on this formula for five years to make it perfect! It comes in a frosted glass bottle, with a copper plastic lid. The pump is pale pink and you really only need two pumps for a medium-full coverage (light layers), its also the standard 30ml or 1.0 fl. oz. It comes in 15 shades from very fair to deep.

Initially I was a bit sceptical about this with all its claims. But I have noticed an improvement in my skin, its not as dry in areas and also my t-zone isnt as oily and it just generally looks better! The shad 1 Fair is perfect for me, as I am used to mixing white skin base with everything, but I dont with this. My makeup is usually on for 14 hours a day. I can tell you this lasted well, it only started breaking up at about the 12 hour mark, this was only slightly though.

It has a slight scent which is fresh, medium consistantcy and it blends out so well, wither you are using a beauty blender or a flat top kabuki brush (Sigma F80 is my favourite). Easily buildable if you use thin layers, but can easily get full coverage.

I highly recommend this foundation and Charlotte’s brand! Even ask for a sample if you aren’t sure. I have attached a link to this foundation from the House Of Fraser Website where it is priced at £30 :

Thanks for taking the time to read my post!! xoxo
